Using Kali Events
These Terms apply when you visit or use Kali Events’ website and event services. By creating an account, placing an order or asking us to manage an event, you agree to these Terms and any event-specific quote or order summary shown to you. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service provides
Kali Events provides digital invitation designs and related tools or services, which may include personalized SMS and WhatsApp delivery, guest lists, RSVP tracking, QR guest passes, reminders, guest check-in support, contribution communications and event pages. The features available for your event depend on the package and add-ons confirmed in your order.
Your account and event details
You are responsible for giving accurate event and contact information, keeping account credentials secure, and limiting access to people you trust. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You remain responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Organizer responsibilities
If you provide guest information or ask us to contact guests, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that your instructions and message content comply with applicable law and platform rules. You are responsible for the accuracy of your guest list, invitation details, RSVP settings and event updates. Do not use Kali Events to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing or unsolicited messages.
SMS and WhatsApp delivery
Messages are sent through external mobile and messaging networks. Delivery depends on the recipient’s number, network coverage, device, channel rules and provider availability, so we cannot guarantee a particular delivery time or that every message will be received. You are responsible for checking event details and reviewing message content before a campaign is sent. Channel charges are based on the rates, guest count and number of sends shown in your quote or order.
Invitation designs and your content
Kali Events’ templates, branding and platform materials belong to Kali Events or their respective owners. When you select a template and pay any applicable fee, you may use the resulting invitation for the event in your order. You may not resell, copy or redistribute the underlying template as a standalone design. You keep rights to photos, names and wording you provide, and allow Kali Events to use them only as needed to prepare and deliver your event service. You confirm you have permission to use all uploaded content.
Prices, quotes and payment
The current website price or the event-specific quote will explain the selected design tier, package, guest volume, channel sends and any requested event-day support. Your final order summary should be reviewed before payment or work begins. A quote is confirmed only when Kali Events accepts the order and any required payment or deposit has been made. Prices for future orders may change; confirmed orders follow their accepted order summary.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
Contact Kali Events as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an event. Before payment, your order or quote will state any event-specific cancellation terms. Approved refunds exclude completed personalized design work, messages already sent and non-recoverable third-party charges. Kali Events will explain the calculation before processing a refund. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of Tanzania.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep the website and event tools available, but maintenance, outages or third-party service interruptions may affect access or delivery. We may update features as the service develops. If a change materially affects a confirmed event service, we will work with you on a reasonable way to complete or adjust that order.
Misuse and suspension
We may pause or refuse a service where we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, guest data is being misused, a message campaign violates a channel rule, payment is overdue or continued service could put people or the platform at risk. Where practical, we will contact you and explain what needs to be resolved.
Applicable law and contact
These Terms are intended to operate under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Kali Events is the service name used for these event services. If you have a concern about an order or the service, contact the Kali Events team on WhatsApp at +255 743 001 354 so we can try to resolve it. This section does not prevent either party from using any legal process available under applicable law.
